IECA Announces Search for New Director

The association is seeking a new director to implement its new strategic plan
July 9, 2015

The International Erosion Control Assn. (IECA) Region One has begun a search for a new executive director to lead IECA through the implementation of the organization’s new strategic plan. The strategic plan focuses on key areas such as: membership growth and benefits, delving more deeply into new educational opportunities, and forging new and expanded organizational partnerships.

Russ Adsit has led IECA since 2007. Adsit helped move the IECA office from Steamboat Springs to Denver, making the office more accessible to members. He was an asset as the organization implemented the regionalization plan that resulted in Regions One and Two, as well as the development of the International Regional Council. During his tenure, he assisted in modifying the annual conference model to better meet members’ needs, and developed online training and national continuing education unit accreditation.
