Paul F. Boulos receives recognition
Dec. 22, 2009

MWH Soft, an innovator of wet infrastructure modeling and simulation software and technologies, announced that its president and chief operating officer, Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D., has been made a Fellow of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

Founded in 1852, ASCE is America’s oldest national engineering society, representing more than 140,000 civil engineers worldwide. Less than 5% of ASCE members hold the Fellow designation.

According to MWH Soft, Boulos is one of the world’s foremost experts on water resources engineering and a global authority on drinking water distribution engineering, from hydraulics to water quality principles. He has co-authored nine books and more than 100 technical articles on water and wastewater engineering.

Among his other recognitions are technical awards for excellence in scholarship from ASCE, the American Water Works Assn. and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

In 2008, he became the youngest person--and one of 16 people worldwide--to be awarded Honorary Diplomate status by the American Academy of Water Resources Engineers.
