2024 Top Projects | City of Santa Ana King Street Urban Greening Project

This year's #1 Top Project took 9,000 square feet of unused space and transformed it into a community green space.

Stakeholders from this year's #1 Top Project discuss the City of Santa Ana King Street Urban Greening Project, which is located in the Santa Ana River Watershed, and helped the city, which is located above the Orange County Groundwater Basin, meet its MS4 permit requirements and improve water quality in the Santa Ana River. In short, the project transformed 9,000 square feet of unused space into a vibrant community green space.
