Singer Valve has designed an innovative vertical diaphragm that rolls while opening and closing, enabling it to lock the valve in place without any friction. This makes for incredible pressure stability from the highest to the lowest flows, unlike that of any flat diaphragm or traditional piston-style valves. By reducing pressure, this valve technology also reduces leakage. The rolling diaphragm reacts faster to changing pressures, as it typically has less water volume above the diaphragm, enabling it to respond quicker. Sizes range from 6 inches to 36 inches and are NSF 372 certified.

Proven Technology Reduces Water Loss 
The importance of water loss has increased in the last 10 years for water utilities. In water loss projects around the world, stable downstream pressure is required, but at night when usage is low and the flow goes down, the pressure typically builds up. Flat diaphragms are very unstable at low flows which cause minor pressure changes downstream and therefore increases the risk of minor surging, which can result in possible pipe bursts.
