VLT AQUA drive, which has always been available in the NEMA/UL Type 4X enclosure from Danfoss, is now available in a NEMA/UL Type 3R rating. This new enclosure rating has protection against falling rain, sleet, and ice formation. With all cast-aluminum parts, these drives are inherently NEMA 3R, so there is no need for a separate enclosure. The impressive range of standard I/O can be expanded through factory- or field-installable option cards. With enhanced features specific to water applications and custom programmability, each drive provides simple out-of-the-box operation.
