SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (November 17, 2014) – Vista Outdoor Professional Lighting introduces the 1050 Series COB Floodlights. Designed for highlighting architectural and landscape features, the 1057 and 3540 up and accent luminaires use Chip-On-Board (COB) LED technology for high-quality, controlled light output.
With the integration of COB LED technology, specifiers no longer have to sacrifice light quality when choosing an LED luminaire. The 1057 Series light is powered by Cree’s CXA1830 LED bulb, while the 3540 light features a Cree CXA2540 LED bulb. Cree LEDs have a high lumen output for exceptional color and uniformity. They are cost efficient thanks to their long life.

Both the 1057 and 3540 Series lights are suitable for outdoor and indoor applications. They’re unique cutoff distributions eliminate glare commonly found in other LED offerings, allowing people to sit in close proximity to the lights without being bothered. The lights were also designed to be aesthetically pleasing for a wide variety of applications, and they come equipped with dimmable drivers. The COB Floodlights are offered in three lighting distributions: spot, medium flood and wide flood, and they can be ground, wall or ceiling mounted onto a variety of substrates including concrete, tile or landscape materials.

The 1057 and 3540 fixtures are made of heavy-walled, die-cast aluminum with four captive stainless steel fasteners. The aluminum is powder-coated for corrosion protection, and the minimalistic-styled door is designed to shed water from the lens without leaking.
