The 2015 National Mayor’s for Water Conservation returns for its 4th year. The campaign, which drew the participation of residents from 3,600 cities last year, will run from April 1 — 30 this year and can be previewed at mywaterpledge.com. It is a ready-made platform for cities and water utilities promote sustainable behaviors, reduce environmental impacts and help their communities. The pledges are common sense and demonstrate the many ways water conservation reduces stress on infrastructure, saves energy, promotes drought resiliency and protects natural resources. City leaders and utility managers can sign up for free at www.wylandfoundation.org/mayors or call 949-643-7070.
