The new website offers a clean, modern design, easy-to-navigate functionality, and streamlined content. The e-commerce function enables customers to quickly and easily order products and accessories. The company has become known for their ongoing commitment to customer service, and the addition of live-chat functionality enhances the 24/7 phone support available to customers.
The new website and brand refresh align the company’s roots with their vision for future growth and expansion. During In-Situ’s early years, much of the business stemmed from consulting and sales of monitoring equipment to the in-situ uranium mining industry. After the mining industry fell on hard times, In-Situ began selling its instruments to companies that were cleaning up hazardous waste sites. Today, In-Situ offers instruments that monitor groundwater, surface water, and coastal waters for all segments of the water monitoring industry, and telemetry systems to allow customers to monitor data remotely.
The new corporate identity includes a modern take on the original logo. The “clover” represents a well field for in-situ mining, and the flow of groundwater is represented by the heart shaped “clover leaf” pattern. The yellow represents the yellow cake from the uranium extraction, reflecting the company’s early years, and the blue outer ring of the logo depicts the movement of water droplets. As the company expanded into environmental and aquaculture, blue was added to the brand, and it continues to be a primary color in the new look and feel.
