Backwashing Media Filters

Yardney backwashing media filters are designed for storm water treatment challenges. The filters use sand media, multimedia and granular activated carbon. These durable carbon steel systems are custom engineered to filter contaminants down to 5 µ, with flow ranges of 10 gpm or more. All of the company’s media filters utilize a simple backwash system for ease of operation and consistent water quality. These automatically controlled filters operate for extended periods of time prior to a short backwash cycle. Manufactured in the U.S., the industrial systems are shipped as a complete, finished, assembled and packaged unit.
