WaterTAP teams with Ivey Business School to build stronger water companies

WaterTAP Ontario and Ivey School of Business at Western University are collaborating on a three-day course aimed at senior leaders of Ontario’s emerging water technology companies. The Ivey/WaterTAP Leadership Development Program will run from March 2 to 4, 2014 and will provide participants with the tools needed to lead and manage fast growth companies.

Faculty-led sessions will challenge participants to rethink longstanding assumptions and operating norms. Topics include: vision, growth and change, effective leadership, decision-making, driving growth, and motivation and commitment.

The course leader is Ivey professor and associate dean Eric Morse, a self-described recovering engineer and founder, investor, board member and/or advisor to a variety of entrepreneurial start-ups. He actively consults with both private and government enterprises in several areas including water reclamation.

WaterTAP and Ivey developed this program for water technology companies with revenues between $1 and $5 million. WaterTAP is subsidizing the registration fee as part of its mandate. Attendance is by application and not guaranteed.
