We’re less than three weeks away from StormCon in Austin, TX, and some new events have been added.

On Tuesday, August 4, Ron Curry of EPA’s Region 6 will give the keynote address. Curry has been Region 6 Administrator since 2012 and has more than 36 years of management experience at all levels of government and in the private sector. In a region that produces more than 62% of the nation’s oil and gas products, he works with federal, state, local, tribal, business, and community officials to protect the environment and public health. He successfully implemented the nation’s largest greenhouse gas permitting program. He stresses the importance of reaching out to US/Mexico border communities as well as developing supplemental environmental projects.
