Things You Didn’t Know You Didn’t Know

Aug. 30, 2016

Are you familiar with the new ASCE standard for permeable pavements? Do you know how many gallons of water an average tree canopy can hold after a storm? Can you name 10 emerging trends in stormwater management?

If you attended StormCon 2016 in Indianapolis last month, you probably have the answers to those questions and more new facts—perhaps on subjects that weren’t even on your radar before the conference—from the more than 130 presentations and 170 exhibitors at the conference.

The next StormCon will be in Seattle, WA, August 27–31, 2017. Keep an eye on our website, www.StormCon.com, for updates on the conference and for our call for papers, which will be out in a few weeks. You can sign up on the site to receive e-mail notification of upcoming developments.

A big thank you to everyone who participated at StormCon this year: our speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees. I want to give a special mention to the many volunteers who acted as moderators. Many of them took on several sessions, and a few have been attending the conference and moderating for years. They keep things running smoothly, and we couldn’t do it without them:
