StormCon staff announce 2021 event results

Oct. 6, 2021
The staff were pleased to announce that the strong majority of this year's attendees enjoyed the convention and would consider recommending it to their colleagues.

StormCon event staff recently shared the convention’s annual post-show survey results, and spoke shortly on attendees’ opportunities to use the new StormCon Direct platform.

Though the ongoing effects of COVID-19 had a significant impact on participation from both exhibitors and attendees, StormCon staff were pleased to report that it saw 440 registrants from 42 states.

Staff also had quite a few positive notes from its post-show survey:

  • 90% of attendees would consider recommending StormCon to their colleagues
  • 94% rated the quality of the speakers as Good, Very Good or Exceptional
  • 72% of attendees rated the quality of the Conference Program as Good, Very Good or Exceptional
  • 86% of attendees rated the quality of exhibitors as Good, Very Good or Exceptional

For next year, StormCon 2022 will focus on growing the number of exhibitors and attendees, while continuing to evolve the format of the show to best serve the stormwater industry. The next year’s event has already implemented a number of improvements for its time in National Harbor, MD, located just outside of Washington D.C. The convention will take place September 26-28, 2022, at the city’s Gaylord National Resort Convention Center.

As part of StormCon 2021, all persons registered for the convention are given free access to StormCon Direct, an online platform launching on October 11. The platform provides direct access to convention sessions on demand for 60 days. All attendees will receive a link with more access information shortly before the platform’s October 11 launch.
