Welcome to the digital world! I am excited to join the SWS Virtual Expo this year as the new managing editor of Storm Water Solutions. This year’s event brings you the educational and networking opportunities you look for, and this show guide is filled with materials to help you get the most out of your Virtual Expo experience.
This event is unique to the industry. As the largest event in the storm water and erosion control industries, the SWS Virtual Expo offers attendees opportunities to network with new and old peers, earn Professional Development Hour credits at live and on-demand webinars, and browse virtual exhibit booths to learn about storm water and erosion control products and services. Attendees also can engage in one-on-one conversations and swipe their virtual badges to request more information from specific companies—all from the comfort of their couch or cubicle.
When attendees aren’t visiting the exhibit hall, they can view storm water and erosion control webinars. The two keynote webinars this year will cover interesting and timely topics, like BMPs in erosion and sediment control, and the performance of Houston’s storm sewer system during Hurricane Harvey. And don't miss additional on-demand webinars in the auditorium. In addition, the Virtual Expo will be archived online for 90 days following the event, providing the opportunity to rewatch the webinars after the event.
Feel free to stay all day, or come and go as you please. Enjoy the benefits of an industry event, without the hassle.
