The world’s largest storm water pollution prevention conference—and all the industry professionals, technologies and education opportunities that come with it—returns to the West Coast this year. StormCon 2009, the North American Surface Water Quality Conference and Exposition, will be held Aug. 16 to 20 at the Anaheim Marriott in Anaheim, Calif.

Education & Certification

Make time at the event to sharpen your professional skills and learn from the experiences of peers. StormCon’s educational program comprises six tracks:

5) Advanced Research Topics; and
6) Source Control.

Consider the following courses when planning your schedule:

Special Events

Scheduled for the morning of Aug. 19, an interactive panel discussion of BMPs and LID in highway environments presents an excellent opportunity for learning more about today’s storm water management and treatment options. To ensure they leave Anaheim with the regulatory information needed to keep compliant, StormCon attendees can also participate in a Q&A session with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency representatives the morning of Aug. 20.

More than 150 vendors will showcase their latest and greatest developments during the event’s exhibit hall hours. Between perusing the show floor and attending education programs, check out environmentalist Terry Tamminen’s keynote speech, the opening gala reception and StormCon’s infamous luncheons for more networking and fun.
