The storm water and erosion control industry is constantly evolving and there is always something new to learn, making educational industry events more important now than ever before. But tightening budgets and busy schedules can sometimes make traveling to trade shows inconvenient.
In less than a month, SWS will host the Spring 2016 Storm Water Solutions Virtual Expo. Held April 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this free event will showcase the latest in storm water and erosion control products and services, and include live and archived webinars offering Professional Development Hours.
The Virtual Expo offers all the benefits of an in-person trade show, accessible from the comfort of your home or office. The event also will offer trade show exhibits with live interaction between attendees and exhibitors.
The first keynote webinar, Inspections and Maintenance of BMPs: Old Problems, New Solutions Attendees, will be presented by Fernando Pasquel, senior vice president, national director, storm water and watershed management for Arcadis; and Mark Van Auken, P.E., practice leader, storm water for Arcadis, at 12 p.m. EDT. A second webinar will be announced soon.
