SWS would like to thank to all of the attendees, sponsors and exhibitors who made the 2015 Virtual Expo a roaring success.
On April 1, more than 1,700 storm water and erosion control professionals registered for the fourth annual SWS Virtual Expo, the largest storm water industry event in the nation. From the comfort of their offices, almost 1,200 unique visitors toured the 20 virtual exhibits, participated in live keynote presentations and moderated chat sessions, and interacted with exhibitors.
Attendees were able to view two live and five archived industry-focused webinars. The Virtual Expo and all seven webinars will be archived for three months, so that new and repeat visitors can continue to tour the exhibitors’ booths and earn PDH credits by watching the on-demand webinars.
In a post-event survey, 100% of respondents said they were likely to attend a future SWS Virtual Expo and commented on the ease of navigation, the benefit of having everything about the industry available in one location, and their appreciation of a free Internet training source that provides PDH credits.
Survey respondents also noted that the Virtual Expo required no travel or travel expenses, allowed attendees to come and go at their convenience, and that Expo doors are open for three months to facilitate return visits.
