IECA's Environmental Connection 2014 is in the Music City this week as erosion control industry professionals arrive in Nashville to take advantage of workshops, educational sessions and the show floor through Friday, Feb. 28.
Budgets, as always, are at the forefront of attendees’ minds, and some have concerns about the future cost of traveling to tradeshows, despite the value they get from a show. One way to get the same experience—without having to pay for travel expenses—is through a virtual tradeshow, hosted entirely online but with the same quality of information and interaction as a physical tradeshow.
SWS is preparing to host its third annual Virtual Expo on April 2, featuring live storm water and erosion control webinars that offer Professional Development Hours and showcase topics like green infrastructure retrofits and construction site sediment control. Also featured are industry chat rooms that facilitate networking, as well as tradeshow exhibits with live interaction between attendees and exhibitors—all without having to get on a plane or even leave your office.
New this year is the IECA Pavilion, featuring vendors highlighting erosion control and soil stabilization.
Stop by booth #426 to say hi to the SWS staff, and I encourage you to register for the Storm Water Solutions Virtual Expo.
