We are coming up on a major water industry tradeshow: WEFTEC—the Water Environment Federation's Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference, which will run Sept. 29 through Oct. 3 in New Orleans. There will be plenty to see and do at the show, including several items of note for the storm water and erosion control industry.
Lisa Jackson, administrator of the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will be speaking about the Clean Water Act’s 40th anniversary at a panel discussion entitled “Navigating Our Water’s Future.” The Stormwater Pavilion is a 6,000-sq-ft-space dedicated to storm water management products and services. Technical session tracks include topics such as rainwater harvesting, green storm water practices, the EPA’s effluent limitations and sustainable municipal facilities.
