The Maine Stormwater Conference will be held Nov. 16 to 18, 2015 in South Portland, Maine. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
The conference is designed for the following individuals:
- Municipal staff and officials (managers, planners, DPW directors, economic development directors, etc.);
- Municipal officials (councilors, planning board members, etc.);
- State and federal agency staff;
- Consulting and design engineers; and
- Watershed managers.
The conference will feature relevant, real-world examples of innovative stormwater management. Topicswill be applicable to decision makers and practitioners alike. It also will feature a tradeshow with vendors who supply storm water solutions, along with EnviroCert classes and certification exams. The event is an opportunity to connect with professionals from around the region.
All participants will have the opportunity to earn professional development hours. Sign in sheets will be made available during each presentation. The Maine Stormwater Conference will issue documentation identifying what tracks and sessions were attended and for what length of time. Documentation can be used to collect professional development hours in multiple fields including, but not limited to: engineering, planning, code enforcement, legal and others.
