Rainwater Harvesting Training & Certification
The American Rainwater Catchment Systems Assn. (ARCSA) announced a partnership with ASSE Intl., making ARCSA’s rainwater harvesting training workshops a prerequisite for the ASSE Series 21000 Rainwater Catchment Systems Personnel Certifications. The certifications are built on professional standards developed under the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI’s) accredited standards development process.
American Excelsior Announces New Product Line
American Excelsior announced a new product line under the brand TriNet Family of Turf Reinforcement Mats (TRMs). The initial launch of TriNet products included TriNet Coconut and TriNet Straw/Coconut. These products are made to compete with three-netted TRMs comprised of degradable coconut or straw/coconut matrix. Additionally, the second launch of TriNet products includes other products that contain synthetic fibers derived from 100% post-consumer recycled materials.
Oldcastle Precast Rebrands
Oldcastle Precast has adopted a new name and a rebrand as Oldcastle Infrastructure. The name reflects the breadth of products and strategic direction the company seeks to provide. According to a press release by the company, Oldcastle Infrastructure will more consistently represent who the company is, what they stand for and their vision for the future. The change followed a review of the company’s compositions, which includes approximately 60% precast concrete products and 40% steel, polymer concrete, plastic and fiberglass products.
Contech Launches New Website
Contech Engineered Solutions launched a newly redesigned website. The website offers a fresh look, easier navigation and user optimization. Notably, the website features a Technical Guides section that provides users with a filtering tool to find product specification, design guides, installation guides, standard details and more. The new website seeks to provide efficient navigation and quality service to customers.
Profile Products Promises Eco-Friendly Changes
Profile Products announced plans to strengthen its commitment to eco-friendly solutions through sustainable production methods and education. Profile will replace all bags and wraps with recycled content packaging across all product lines. According to a press release, the new packaging will take effect immediately. CEO and President Jim Tanner announced the initiative in a memo to Profile’s distributors.
Additionally, Tanner outlined projects and partnerships Profile has been undergoing to further this environmentally friendly mission. These include revegetation efforts, recycled products, waterway restoration, Lunch & Learn seminars, sustainable freight partnerships, using Forest Stewardship Council certified paper, and launching a greenhouse facility plant expansion.
