U.S. Exhibitors at SIWW 2016 Build Partnerships, Generate Business
Against a dynamic backdrop of heightened environmental pressures, infrastructure safety and security concerns, and global demand for clean water, the U.S. sought to strengthen business relationships and open new opportunities for growth at Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2016.
A core group of U.S. exhibitors at SIWW 2016, featuring such industry innovators as LG Nano H2O, WaterStart and Mueller Co., was organized by the American Water Works Assn. (AWWA), the International Trade Administration (ITA) and Kallman Worldwide Inc.
The AWWA/U.S. Global Pavilion was the focal point of this national effort, a primary destination for buyers seeking to efficiently meet U.S. companies, and an on-site business hub for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event.
“As a co-presenter of the AWWA/U.S. Global Pavilion in partnership with ITA, we are proud to help our members capitalize on this influential business event to grow their share of the global marketplace, and further extend their water leadership,” said AWWA CEO David B. LaFrance.
Specifically, exhibitors in the Pavilion sought to initiate or build on regional and international partnerships that will generate new business and create more jobs back home, according to Tom Kallman, president and CEO of Kallman Worldwide, the AWWA/U.S.Global Pavilion’s designated coordinator.
“When the U.S. commits to exhibit at SIWW 2016, we’re saying we believe in the power of this event to attract real business prospects and customers, and strengthen the U.S. export economy,” said Kallman. “The steady growth and diversification of this show speaks for itself. This show sets the standard in Southeast Asia.”
