WaterSense, a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency partnership program that promotes water conservation through the use of water-efficient products, new homes and services, recently launched its When In Drought campaign.

The campaign is designed to amplify drought messaging in Western states and create awareness that summer is the most critical time to save water.

Campaign materials include an animated video with water conservation tips. To coincide with this campaign WaterSense is hosting a #WaterSavingYard Photo Challenge on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to showcase drought-tolerant landscapes.
