The WaterTAP Board has added Rhonda E. Harris, P.E., MBA, Erin Mahoney, M.E., Kenneth A. Morrison, P.E., FCSCE, and Rick VanSant, four new directors who will guide the organization in its mandate to promote and strengthen Ontario’s water sector. Erin Mahoney is commissioner of environmental services for The Regional Municipality of York. Responsible for managing more than staff, she leads implementation of a $3-billion, 10-year capital infrastructure budget and oversees delivery of water, wastewater, waste management and forestry services.
As President of R.V. Anderson Associates Ltd., Ken Morrison has 40 years of experience in the provision of professional services and advice for infrastructure and environment projects related to water, wastewater, transportation, urban development and telecommunications.
An experienced entrepreneur and angel investor, Rick VanSant is the president and CEO of UV Pure Technologies, an early-stage Canadian environmental technology company. Prior to UV Pure Technologies, he founded and/or led many public and private companies including Moneysworth & Best Quality Shoe Repair, and several food and beverage, hospitality, service and retail goods businesses.
The new directors will assume their board duties immediately.
