WateReuse Assn. to Host Federal Water Policy, Legislation Webcast

Webcast will provide an update on cutting-edge federal legislative and policy issues

The WateReuse Assn. will present a new webcast on March 5, from 2 to 3 p.m. EST, that will provide an insider update on cutting-edge federal legislative and policy issues of interest to the water reuse and desalination communities, including legislation dealing with changes to and the policy implications of implementing the Federal Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act and other significant current issues, such as the western drought emergencies and progress on creating innovative federal water infrastructure funding and financing programs.

The webcast will also include an update on the status and details of the Water Resources Development Act of 2013 (WRDA), provide the latest information on the FY 2014 omnibus appropriations bill passed by Congress in January and discuss the status of the president’s FY 2015 Federal Budget request. The session will also provide an overview of coming federal rulemakings and other regulatory issues related to water and important to the water reuse community.
