IECA Calls for Environmental Excellence Award Nominations

The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Region One is calling for nominations for its annual Awards of Environmental Excellence. The awards program recognizes industry professionals and organizations for their contributions to the erosion and sediment control community. IECA will honor all award winners during its awards program at Environmental Connection 2013 held in San Diego, Calif. from Feb. 10 to 13, 2013.

2012 Awards Categories:

• Environmental Achievement Award
• Sustained Contributor Award
• Contractor of the Year Award
• Educational Achievement Award
• Organization of the Year Award
• Professional of the Year Award
• Technological Innovation Award
• Young Professional Award

Honorees may be nominated by a colleague or be self-nominated, and winners are selected by the IECA Awards Committee and Professional Development Committee. Though not all award categories require that the nominee be an IECA member in good standing, all those wishing to submit a nomination must be current IECA members. The deadline to submit a nomination for awards presented at Environmental Connection 2013 is Oct. 22, 2012.
