RJN Group Inc. (RJN) has begun work on storm water projects in the city of Maryland Heights, Mo. The storm water projects aim to eliminate or reduce erosion or flooding damage and associated risks to streets, driveways, yards and miscellaneous structures in the impacted areas. RJN is providing professional engineering services for three separate storm water projects at the locations of 2800 Hathaway, 12020 Wesford Drive and Westglen Park Drive.

An existing storm inlet located at the rear of 2266 Westglen Park Drive does not intercept all the runoff generated and water ponds along the rear of at least two properties. RJN will perform analysis, storm water design, plan specifications and cost estimates for the construction of an underground storm sewer system to intercept and convey storm water from the rear of residential lots in the vicinity of 2266-2270 Westglen Park Drive. The improvement consists of approximately 240 linear ft of reinforced concrete piping and appurtenances that will extend from an existing storm sewer to the area(s) of concern.

The two projects at 2008 Hathaway and 12020 Wesford involves the repair and rehabilitation of existing storm water facilities and the installation of new storm sewers, culverts, retaining walls, gabions, rip-rap and bio-stabilization measures necessary to alleviate identified problems. RJN will again be conducting analysis, storm water design, plan specifications and cost estimates for construction for these two projects.
