UW Course Focuses on Stormwater Management
The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Engineering Professional Development will offer a course, Using the Source Loading & Management Tool for Urban Stormwater Management, Oct. 17-`9, 2005 in Appleton, Wis.
This course will benefit design engineers, architects, contractors, developers, regulators, reviewers, regional planning staff and city or council staff with stormwater management responsibilities.
Attendees will discuss how to solve a variety of water resources problems; how to show WINSLAMM can help make planning-level decisions concerning development impacts and stormwater controls; uses and unique aspects of WINSLAMM; WINSLAMM calibration and verification; and interpretation of WINSLAMM output.
