NJCAT Verification Achieved for Imbrium Systems’ Filter Technology

Storm water technology Jelly Filter receives NJCAT validation

Imbrium Systems announced it received the NJCAT (New Jersey Center for Advanced Technology) Technology Verification Report, which validates the manufacturer’s field test claims for its Jellyfish Filter. The NJCAT verification is one of the most rigorous examinations for storm water treatment technologies in North America.

The Jellyfish Filter is a storm water filter technology that treats more than five times the flow capacity with minimal head and just one-third the footprint and one-fifth the weight of conventional storm water filtration best management practices (BMP).

“Our rigorous TARP (Technical Acceptance Reciprocity Partnership) field testing demonstrated that the Jellyfish Filter removes more than 85% TSS, 60% total phosphorus, 50% total nitrogen and sediment particles as small as 2 microns,” said Joel Garbon, product manager for Imbrium Systems.
