Filter Sock Manufacturer Receives Investment from Firm

Weaver Express partners with Cleveland-based JWI Capital LLC to expand company

Cleveland-based firm JWI Capital LLC announced it completed a controlling equity investment in Weaver Express Blower Services LLC. Weaver Express’ founders Kevin and Keith Weaver will retain ownership positions in the business and continue to work for the company full time.

Based in Sugarcreek, Ohio, Weaver Express is an installer and manufacturer of compost-based filter socks and other compost-based products for erosion and sediment control applications. Its products primarily focus on eliminating sediment runoff from construction sites and are based on technology developed by Filtrexx Intl. LLC.
