Storm Water Modeling Course to be Offered in November
This fall XP Software Inc. invites engineers to Chicago for Stormwater, Flood and Wastewater Modeling training. To be held Nov. 9-11, the training course is an opportunity for engineers to hone their skills or learn the basics of water modeling, including low impact development (LID), open channel and 1-D/2-D techniques as well as dry weather flows and sewer structures.
Day One will focus on the basics of storm water modeling, starting with hydrology and hydraulics. Day Two will provide more in-depth instruction and exercise for advanced storm water hydrology and LID modeling, as well as other more advanced modeling functions such as dual drainage, river and open channel modeling and integrated 1-D/2-D modeling. Day Three will delve into urban modeling and then sanitary sewer modeling, including sanitary structures.
