Infiltrator Systems, Advanced Drainage Systems Enter Acquisition Agreement

Infiltrator Systems Inc. (ISI) announced it will acquire the assets of the septic chamber business of Advanced Drainage Systems Inc. (ADS) and its subsidiaries. The acquisition is part of ISI’s ongoing commitment to offer quality and service to the onsite wastewater industry. As part of the acquisition, ADS, based in Hilliard, Ohio, enters into a long-term, non-exclusive distribution agreement with ISI and will continue to market and sell the Arc and BioDiffuser product lines.

We also believe this addition will lead to more efficient manufacturing operations, allowing us to be even more competitive with alternative solutions in the marketplace.”

“It has always been our intention to offer our distribution network the finest products and services available. We feel this agreement best addresses the ever-evolving needs of our customers and employees,” said ADES chairman and CEO Joe Chlapaty.

The transaction is expected to be completed within the next several months, subject to customary closing conditions and necessary regulatory approvals. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
