Annual WERF Research Forum to Feature U.S. EPA Infrastructure, Storm Water Experts
The Water Environment Research Foundation’s (WERF) 7th Annual Research Forum taking place Dec. 6 is expected to draw numerous renowned speakers on water quality issues. The event will feature “the newest water quality research results that will inform regulations, lower cost, provide energy independence and most importantly—improve our environment,” said WERF board chair William Dee.
Two past winners of the Paul L. Busch Award are expected to present at the forum, Nancy Love of the University of Michigan and Columbia University’s Kartik Chandran. Other highlights include presentations by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency infrastructure expert Steve Albee, EPA storm water expert Holly Galavotti and Virginia Tech professor John Novak. The keynote speaker will be David Henderson, founder and managing director of XPV Capital Corp., who focuses on identifying and investing in companies capitalizing on significant opportunities created by the emerging water economy.
The event will be offered on a virtual platform, allowing registrants to revisit presentations and accompanying materials for 12 months after the event. Registration is free to WERF subscribers.
