Hydro Intl. Signs Strategic Partnership for Growth in Japan

New deal provides opportunity to introduce new storm water technologies overseas

Hydro Intl. announced it signed a strategic partnership agreement with a new agent to grow its business in Japan.

The deal with Tokyo-based Haneda Zenith Techno Co. Ltd. is seen as a key strategic move for Hydro's operations in Asia and is an opportunity to introduce new sustainable, low-maintenance technologies for storm water treatment to the Japanese market.

"Hydro is committed to achieving significant growth in the Asia Pacific region through the application of proven water control and treatment technologies already successful in other parts of the world," said Clive Evans, business director at Hydro Intl.

"We are confident that Haneda Zenith Techno has the technical expertise and the market connections to support our aggressive growth plans for our storm water treatment solutions and the Hydro-Brake Flow Control, which we believe are well suited to the Japanese environment."
