New report looks at job creation, environmental impact of upgrading water systems

Green For All unveils comprehensive look at impact of upgrading water infrastructure

On Oct. 4, Green For All, in partnership with American Rivers, Pacific Institute, the Economic Policy Institute and the Pacific Institute, released “Water Works: Rebuilding Infrastructure, Creating Jobs, Greening the Environment.” The report outlines the economic impacts of fully investing in upgrading America’s water infrastructure and argues that this is the best possible time to do so.

The release coincided with a speech by Green For All CEO Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins at the Clean Water America Alliance’s Urban Water Sustainability Leadership Conference in Milwaukee, Wis. Following the speech, press were invited to join a conference call discussion with report authors and partner organizations.
