IECA’s EC12 Open for Registration
Registration is open for the International Erosion Control Assn.’s (IECA) annual conference and expo, Environmental Connectio 2012 (EC12). Those interested can visit IECA’s website for details on full-day courses, shorter technical sessions, special events and the exhibit hall.
Each year, hundreds of industry professionals are educated through the intensive, full-day training courses and shorter technical sessions, which consist of case studies, research papers, forums and workshops. Topics range from vegetation establishment to turbidity control to best management practice (BMP) selection.
Full-day courses to be featured at EC12 include: “Stream and Riparian Area Investigation, Rehabilitation and Design Workshop” with Richard Fischer; “The Reality of Vegetation Establishment for Erosion and Sediment Control” with Tom Williams; and “Newest Best of the BMPs” with John McCullah.
The expo will take place Feb. 28 to 29 in Las Vegas, and will also celebrate the association’s 40 years of service to the erosion and sediment control and storm water community.
