U.S. Water Prize winners NGRREC, Milwaukee Water Council to be recognized

The second webinar in the Water & Wastes Digest/Clean Water America Alliance series will take place Thursday, Nov. 17 at 3 p.m. EST, and will recognize the National Great Rivers Research & Education Center (NGRREC) and the Milwaukee Water Council.

Sponsored by the Clean Water America Alliance, the United States Water Prize Program seeks to honor any U.S.-based institution, organization or individual whose project or initiative represents effective innovation in ensuring water sustainability by advancing holistic, watershed-based approaches to water quality and quantity challenges. Five U.S. Water Prizes were awarded in 2011.

The second webinar will feature Dale T. Chapman, chairman of NGRREC, and Dean Amhaus, executive director of Milwaukee Water Council, as presenters.
