Williams joins Black & Veatch’s Management Consulting Business

New hire to lead company’s strategic, tactical asset management services

Will Williams joined Black & Veatch as director within its management consulting business. In his new role, Williams will lead and provide a full range of strategic and tactical asset management services for global water and power clients, such as PAS55 implementation, capital and operational investment optimization, and asset condition and performance assessments.

Williams has more than 21 years experience in asset management planning, including asset failure analysis, risk assessment, performance benchmarking, maintenance optimization, business planning, serviceability assessment, whole life costing, operational efficiency, business change management and infrastructure rehabilitation. Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Williams was a vice president and global director of asset management for water and power with a large, global consulting firm. He has also served as director of asset management and planning at the UK Water Research Centre.

Williams is a graduate of London University and is an active member of numerous professional organizations including: a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, member of the Institute of Asset Management, a management committee member of the IWA Strategic Asset Management Specialist Group, and more.
