RJN Group Expands Tulsa, Okla., Office
RJN Group Inc. continues to expand its presence in Tulsa, Okla., with the addition of two new employees.
Mike McDermott has been hired full-time as a resident project representative (RPR). McDermott has more than 30 years of experience in wastewater, water, storm water and transportation construction observation throughout Oklahoma. He also has participated in various sanitary sewer evaluation study (SSES) tasks over the years.
Ronnie Pierce has been hired full-time as an engineering technician. Pierce has more than 18 years of local experience in wastewater, water, storm water and transportation design services. He also has successfully provided construction observation services on a number of public works projects in Oklahoma and has worked as a surveying technician. Pierce will primarily be performing design-related tasks on public works improvements, including CADD services, and will provide part-time RPR services when needed.
RJN originally opened its Tulsa office in 1992. In 2009 RJN hired a customer service-focused branch manager/senior project manager, Thomas G. Prag, P.E., CCCA. Prag has more than 15 years of civil engineering and construction experience. His environmental engineering experience includes planning, design and construction of wastewater collection and treatment systems, as well as water supply, storage and distribution systems. He also has performed inflow and infiltration studies and managed various SSES tasks for several municipalities in Oklahoma.
Paul Thompson, who has been with RJN for several years, also returned to the Tulsa office in 2009. Thompson has more than 48 years of experience in construction administration and observation. He has performed construction administration and observation services for numerous municipalities in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Texas.
