QSD/QSP 24-Hour Storm Water Training to Take Place Oct. 6 to 8

Training to be held at Ewing Irrigation Offices in Santa Ana, Calif.

Ewing will host training for Qualified Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developers, Qualified SWPPP Practitioners, and Water Pollution Control Managers to meet the General National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit for Construction (CAS000002, Order No. 2009-0009-DWQ) AND California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) requirements.

The training will be held from Oct. 6 to 8 at Ewing Irrigation Offices, Santa Ana, Calif., from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost is $535 for three days. Topics include Regulations and Erosion Theory, SWPPP Implementation, Construction Site Monitoring, Reporting, Project Planning and Risk Determination and Project Closeout.

Copies of General Permit and Caltrans SWPPP Template and BMPs will be provided.
