MACTEC Names Ed Czyscon Senior Principal Landscape Architect

Czyscon brings more than 33 years experience

MACTEC has named Ed Czyscon senior principal landscape architect. Czyscon is based in the firm’s Kennesaw, Ga., office.

Czyscon brings to MACTEC more than 33 years of project management and landscape architecture experience, which includes master planning/landscape architectural projects for streetscape and urban design, large scale park/recreational developments, municipal court houses, office and industrial developments, wetland enhancement and mitigation design, and residential development. Czyscon has also managed multi-disciplined design offices, owned his own firm and led business development for offices.

Over the years, Czyscon has received awards and honors from various American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA) chapters in Georgia, Florida and North Carolina. He also won a National Landscape Award for the Tampa Bay Office Park Restoration Project, which was presented to him at the White House by former First Lady Nancy Reagan.

Czyscon is on ASLA’s National Board of Trustees and has served as the Georgia Chapter’s president and member of the board of directors. He has guest lectured at the University of Florida, University of Georgia and SUNY ESF, Syracuse University.
