VUEWorks Inc. announced that Allied GIS Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska, has joined its channel sales partner program, covering Colorado and Alaska. Allied GIS, which is also an ESRI business partner, provides GIS, imagery, Internet and database solutions for infrastructure and environmental projects serving clients in private industry, Native, military, city, county and federal government.

Allied GIS has recently opened a new office in Louisville, Colo., to meet growing demand for GIS and GIS-integrated solutions in the western United States, the company said. Colorado is home to both the Federal GIS Center and a large GIS community.

“Allied GIS are data integration experts,” said Gail Morrison, Allied GIS’s president. “VUEWorks is a strategic addition to our solutions portfolio, providing a Web-based, easy-to-use platform for computerized maintenance management systems and strategically managing infrastructure assets. We see a tremendous opportunity to expand our business in the western United States and are thrilled to have this sales territory for VUEWorks. Our new Louisville office will strengthen our business and complement our existing staff in California and Alaska.”

“Allied GIS’s broad client base spans all levels of government and oil and gas corporations,” said Kenneth Spalding, P.E., sales manager for VUEWorks. “Partnering with Allied GIS will help us serve our core municipal clientele in the western U.S. better and offers us a fantastic opportunity to expand into the Colorado and Alaska markets. We are very excited to team up with Allied GIS.”
