MACTEC Names New Phoenix Office Manager

Michael A. Romero has been appointed Phoenix Office Manager. J. Allen Kibler, Jr., president of MACTEC Engineering and Consulting Inc., made the announcement.

”There are tremendous growth opportunities in the Southwest for MACTEC, and Michael’s 15 years of management and technical expertise in geotechnical, environmental and telecommunications, and his superb organizational skills will be invaluable as we continue to expand our operations in the region.”

Romero supervises a staff of 85 in Phoenix. Key services provided by the office include telecommunications, geotechnical, materials and environmental engineering as well as facilities engineering and water resources management and development.

Romero has managed a number of significant projects for MACTEC in recent years, and he has four AHERA certifications: asbestos inspector, management planner, contractor/supervisor and project designer.
