WEF Announces Utility Management 2009
The Water Environment Federation (WEF) and American Water Works Association (AWWA) will jointly present the Utility Management 2009 specialty conference from Feb. 17 to 20 at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans.
The conference will tackle the toughest issues currently facing water and wastewater utilities and provide new insight and ideas for utility leaders through workshops, presentations, roundtable discussions and networking with key utility decision makers. Recognized as a leading management conference for water and wastewater professionals, attendees will also get a firm grasp on how to strategize for future challenges.
Conference topics include asset management, best business practices/innovations, capital project planning and delivery, financial planning/rate setting, strategic planning, succession planning and workforce strategies. Those encouraged to attend are water and wastewater utility managers, public works directors, district managers, water and wastewater treatment professionals, consultants, public officials and regulatory board members.
The advanced registration deadline for Utility Management 2009 is Jan. 16.
