MACTEC Appoints South Division Manager

Scott J. Anderson, most recently senior vice president, to assume new role

Scott J. Anderson, P.E., has been named South Division manager at MACTEC Engineering and Consulting Inc. (MEC). J. Allen Kibler, Jr., president of MEC, made the announcement.

The South Division currently has more than 1,300 employees, 28 offices and accounts for more than $170 million in annual revenue for MACTEC. Anderson is based in Charlotte, N.C., and most recently served as Charlotte's office manager and area manager for South Carolina. He has been with MACTEC since 1998 and was named vice president in 2005 and senior vice president earlier this year. Anderson also managed MACTEC's $40-million Navy Facility Condition Assessment Program.

"For over a decade at MACTEC, Scott has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, and I now look forward to continuing to work with him as he assumes responsibility for growing and expanding the South Division," Kibler said.

Anderson served seven years active duty in the U.S. Army. He is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina and South Carolina. Anderson has a bachelor of science degree in Engineering Management from the U.S. Military Academy. He is a member of Society of American Military Engineers and President of West Point Society of the Carolinas.
