Following feedback from STORMPAC users, WRc plc is pleased to announce that version 4.0 is now available. The latest version of the water industry standard rainfall modeling and analysis package used to process rainfall data for sewer models now has more output and summary rainfall statistics options.

The new software also includes the option to set up output files with multiple rain profiles. This will improve the integration of the software with the Wallingford Software InfoWorks package, particularly in large catchment studies. There are also options to speed up the Poisson disaggregator for generating 5-minute rainfall that will save users processing time.

“The improvements to our STORMPAC software will benefit users by allowing better use to be made of rainfall data in urban pollution management studies and other rainfall data applications,” said Donna Murray of WRc plc.
