WEFTEC.08 Sets New Floor Space Record

999 companies have reserved 288,525 sq ft of booth space at Chicago's McCormick Place

With eight weeks to go before its conference opening, the Water Environment Federation (WEF) has announced a new exhibition floor space record for WEFTEC.08, WEF’s 81st annual technical exhibition and conference. Continuing a four-year growth trend and with limited booth space still available for rent, a current total of 999 companies have reserved a record-setting 288,525 net sq ft of floor space at McCormick Place in Chicago.

As the largest annual water quality exhibition in the world, WEFTEC provides unparalleled educational and business opportunities for both exhibitors and attendees. “With more than 15 different water markets represented at WEFTEC, both attendees and decision makers can not only learn about the latest developments in the water and wastewater fields but can also take this information and technology back to their communities or customers,” said Marc Parsont, WEF’s assistant director of WEFTEC sales. “Whether it’s wastewater, drinking water, storm water or any of the countless water-related areas, it’s guaranteed to be at WEFTEC.”

WEFTEC.08 will be held Oct. 18 to 22 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The advanced registration deadline is Sept. 19, and attendees are encouraged to register early. For the latest conference updates and registration information, visit www.weftec.org.
