New faces abound in the new Denver office

After a successful move to the new Denver office, the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is pleased to announce the recent addition of several new team members. Each new face brings a unique background and fresh ideas that have already made a positive impact on the day-to-day at the IECA office.

Georgina Zynda joins the IECA team as administrative assistant to Office Manager Pat Fete. Zynda most recently worked with the Michigan Concrete Paving Association, where she held a similar position.

Holding down the front desk is new receptionist Nia Hamilton. Hamilton has a background in customer service, sales and marketing. She holds a degree in technical communications.

Gwen Ingram-Thompson comes to the IECA with more than 20 years in the accounting and finance field and is a great addition to the staff. Ingram-Thompson will be tackling the bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and processing the financial information for the board of directors.

Katie Kiaha joins the IECA team as marketing manager. Kiaha comes from the homebuilding industry, where she most recently worked in the Denver marketing department of Richmond American Homes. She holds bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Joining IECA as education director is Jimmy Eanes. Eanes has more than 20 years experience managing all aspects of training and learning solutions. He specializes in eLearining formats and has global experience. Jimmy holds a master’s degree in education and is a current member of many professional organizations, including the American Society for Training and Development. He is also CPESC and CESSWI certified.

Please join current staff members Russ Adsit (executive director), Pat Fete (office manager), Scott Johnson (IT manager) and Meg Tully (association development director) in welcoming these new employees to IECA. Don’t forget to save the date for an open house at the IECA’s new home in Denver on Oct. 16 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
