Godwin Pumps Announces Management Additions
Godwin Pumps, the largest manufacturer of portable rental pumps in the U.S., recently announced additions to the leadership of its Tampa, Fla., and Mira Loma, Calif., branches.
Dwight Kimelton signed on as branch manager of Godwin's Tampa branch. Kimelton joins Godwin with more than 13 years of experience in industrial paint sales and marketing management and an additional eight years in equipment rental and sales. He is a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and Steel Structures Painting Council.
"Our market in Florida has tremendous potential," said John Paz, Godwin's president. "We recently invested in a larger facility there, anticipating continued growth. Dwight's experience developing new business as both a manufacturer and a product and service supplier fits the niche Godwin has carved out in the portable pump industry and will lend itself to growing the business in this region of the country."
Steve Tao joined Godwin's Mira Loma branch as assistant branch manager. Tao has more than 12 years of experience in the equipment rental industry, with a particular focus on customer service and corporate and independent store account management.
"Steve's experience in a high-energy, high-demand rental environment matches the pace we experience in our Mira Loma branch," Paz said. "Steve has had to train and schedule employees; resolve billing and support issues; and sell and rent equipment. This is exactly the support needed to continue the amazing growth trend we've seen in California."
