MACTEC E&C Names New Area Manager
D. Bruce Corkle, P.E., has been named Midwest area manager for MACTEC Engineering & Consulting (MACTEC E&C). Bruce C. Coles, president of MACTEC E&C and chairman and chief executive officer of MACTEC Inc., the holding company, made the announcement. Corkle is based in Chicago and most recently served as office manager there.
Corkle now oversees all Midwest offices: Chicago; Peoria, Ill.; Lincoln, Neb.; St. Louis; and Kansas City, Mo. These offices comprise more than 150 employees and generate more than $45 million in annual gross revenue.
Corkle joined MACTEC in 1995 and has more than 30 years of consulting experience, particularly in process design and civil site development. He is one of the company's leaders in environmental process engineering for the metal and metal finishing industries and is a co-inventor of a patented process for reducing the recycled water process.
Corkle is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. He has a bachelor's of science degree in engineering mathematics from the University of Tulsa and a master's of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Corkle is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
